There is nothing more calming than the rhythm of the herd. In spring, the horses like to take morning naps. Every March morning at 10am, you are guaranteed to stumble upon at least a few members of the herd taking a nap in the warm spring sun. They take turns resting their heads in the wild flowers; the remaining members calmly graze near by, keeping a watch over dreaming family members. Slow down they say, rest your head and breathe in the soft dampness of spring.
