Artemis Wild Horse Sanctuary in southern California provides sanctuary to wild horses rounded up by the BLM. The herd runs free on 80 acres of meadow and mountain, allowed to live unbridled and unhandled like they once did in the wild. Some of the herd are curious, others keep to themselves. All of them are free to choose and live happy, healthy lives. Being around them is true magic. There really is something about a wild horse.
